Yo like its a son of a bitch to even buy a copy of this anymore. Nowadays you gotta look through amazon or ebay or whatever site may have it and not only is that a hassle, but with said hard copies of the games, the key that would be provided can only be used a certain amount of times around 5 or so and so what can happen is that by the time you get around to actually possessing said copy, you cant even use it.
Having it available for digital purchase and download would make myself and a great deal of other people happy. Same for Halo 2, but we'll see what ever happens with it, halo 1 pc digital download. Interestingly, that site links to many GOG games for purchase. The Gearbox port wasn't the worst thing, could easily be added with a little polish, making sure the map files have all the missing shaders, check to see that those effects work on modern machines, and then just release, with functional MP, people would love it.
This game already is easy to pirate on PC and is soooo old. Seriously, they might as well endear themselves to gamers by throwing us a bone, halo 1 pc digital download. I'd say probably might want to ask money for this, not quite as old, but at least a DRM free version.
